The QUERCUS Showcase Event 9th and 10th October 2008 - This was designed to be a memorable and enjoyable event, in which the successes of the project were celebrated by the partners, and demonstrated to a broad audience. All delegates were encouraged to participate and to give their views, and get involved, hands-on.

The London Borough of Lewisham hosted the Launch Event of the EU LIFE Environment QUERCUS Project on 28 June 2006.

Launched in 1992, LIFE (The Financial Instrument for the Environment) is one of the spearheads of the European Community’s environment policy.
