Maria Bastion

Maria Bastion
A development plan entitled the Western Ramparts Return has been drawn up for the fortifications on the western side of ’s-Hertogenbosch. This was the heart of the Quercus project in Den Bosch. This was to be carried out as part of this plan is the reconstruction of the Maria Bastion. The route of the fortifications' wall has been ascertained by means of archaeological digs. The original wall proves to be largely intact under the ground.
